Volunteering

As a not for profit social business we rely on the support of the local community. Our team of volunteers work alongside paid staff and female ex-offenders on work placements to carry out a number of key roles that ensure the smooth running of the bakery. We offer a comprehensive volunteer training programme and access to qualifications.

People volunteer with us for a wide number of reasons:

To use their skills to help improve the lives of female ex-offenders and other vulnerable women
To give back to the local community
To make new friends, keep busy and get out of the house maybe after retirement or between jobs
To develop new skills and experience to help find paid employment
